Privacy Policy

GLPantry helps you find protein-first, GLP-1 friendly foods and order them through Instacart. We designed it to work without an account and to collect as little as possible.
What we collect
Nothing that identifies you. GLPantry has no accounts, no sign-up, and no advertising or analytics trackers. Your diet preferences (protein and carb targets) are stored only on your device and never leave it.
Location
If you choose to share your location, it is used on your device to tailor delivery availability. It is not stored on our servers. You can decline the location prompt and use every feature of the app.
Camera, saved items, and your kitchen list
The barcode scanner uses your camera only while you are scanning. Images are processed on your device to read the barcode and are never stored or uploaded; only the barcode number is sent to our server to look up the product. Products you save and the items you list under “In my kitchen” are stored on your device, not in an account, and you can remove them at any time.
Meal ideas
When you tap “Suggest meals,” the food items on your kitchen list and the goal you selected are sent to our server to generate suggestions. Some suggestions are written by an AI model provided by Anthropic; in that case the same list of food items is sent to Anthropic to produce the response. We send no name, email, location, or device identifier with it, and we do not keep the list on our servers. Please don't type personal information into the list. AI-generated suggestions are labeled in the app and may contain mistakes.
Third-party services
Like any internet service, our hosting providers (Vercel and Supabase) receive standard technical data such as your IP address when the app loads products. The first time the iPhone app opens, it sends our server a random code made up on your device, along with the app version, so we can count installs. The code is not tied to you, your Apple ID, or your device, and we store nothing else with it. Product searches may be sent to Open Food Facts (search text only). When you tap “Shop on Instacart,” the product name and brand are sent to Instacart to build your shopping list; anything you do on Instacart is governed by Instacart's privacy policy.
Affiliate disclosure
GLPantry participates in Instacart's affiliate program and may earn a commission when you place an order through an Instacart link in the app. This does not affect what you pay, and product rankings are based only on nutrition data.

GLP-1 fit scores and product information are general nutrition information, not medical advice. Always consult your healthcare provider about your diet and medications.
Children
GLPantry is not directed at children under 13.
