What is GLPantry?
GLPantry helps people taking GLP-1 medications shop and cook protein-first. It rates grocery products for a GLP-1 lifestyle, scans barcodes in the store, keeps a pantry of the foods you rely on, suggests meals from what is in your kitchen, and sends shopping lists to Instacart.
How is the GLP-1 fit score calculated?
Scores come from the product's published nutrition data: protein per calorie, total protein, fiber, sugar, and fat, weighted by the food's role (a protein, a grain, a fruit, a broth, and so on) and by the goal you pick, such as Queasy day or Max protein. Products with sugar alcohols in the ingredient list are flagged. Scores are general nutrition information, not medical advice. The scanner can't find a product. What now?
The scanner checks our catalog first and then Open Food Facts, a public database. Some products are not in either. You can type the barcode number on the Scan tab, or add the item to your kitchen list by name to get meal ideas.
A score or nutrition value looks wrong.
Nutrition data comes from product labels as reported to our catalog or Open Food Facts, and labels change. Email us the product name and barcode and we will correct it.
How do meal reminders work?
In the app, open the Meals tab and turn on Meal reminders. You can set up to three daily times. Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your phone; nothing is sent to a server. Turn them off with the same switch, or in iOS Settings under Notifications.
Where is my data stored, and how do I delete it?
GLPantry has no accounts. Your saved pantry, kitchen list, reminder settings, and recent scans live only on your device. To delete them, remove items in the app or delete the app. Our servers do not keep them.
Why does Instacart open in my browser?
Instacart's developer terms require shopping lists to open on Instacart's own site rather than inside another app. GLPantry may earn a commission on orders placed through those links; this does not change what you pay, and rankings are never influenced by commissions.
Is GLPantry medical advice?
No. GLPantry provides general nutrition information based on common dietary guidance for people on GLP-1 medications. Always follow your healthcare provider's guidance about your diet and medications.

Found a bug, a mis-scored product, or a broken Instacart link? Email support@glpantry.app with what you expected and what happened. Product corrections usually go live within a day.

GLPantry works without an account and stores your lists on your device. Details, including what our servers and partners receive, are in the Privacy Policy. To request deletion of anything we might hold, email us at the address above.
